My name is Tiffany Gaddis, and I’m the heart behind Momentum Learning Co. I was born and raised in Gaston, Indiana, where my love for teaching, learning, and supporting children first began.
I graduated with Technical Honors from Wes-Del Community Schools in 2011. During high school, I took my first official step into the world of education by attending the Muncie Area Career Center my junior and senior year. There, I completed the Early Childhood Program, gaining hands-on experience that confirmed what I already knew—I was meant to work with kids.
In 2015, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and became a licensed K–6 teacher. Since then, I’ve spent years in the classroom teaching multiple subjects, supporting diverse learners, and helping children grow academically and emotionally.
Alongside my teaching career, I’ve also coached youth sports for more than 15 years, working with students from kindergarten through high school. Coaching has strengthened my belief that confidence, encouragement, and steady support can transform a child’s ability to learn—on the field and in the classroom.
My goal is simple: to help every child feel capable, supported, and proud of the progress they make—one steady step at a time.
At the core of everything I do is a simple passion: helping children build the confidence to believe they can. I have always been drawn to encouraging others, especially young learners, to take small, steady steps toward big goals—even when those goals feel out of reach. I believe that confidence is not something that suddenly appears; it’s something that is nurtured, guided, and deeply rooted in childhood.
I’ve always felt that reading is a superpower. It opens doors, shapes identity, and influences how capable a child feels. And the truth is, children often decide very young whether they think they “can” or “can’t.” That belief becomes powerful—sometimes powerful enough to hold them back. I feel called to step into that moment and show them, gently and consistently, that they absolutely can.
Some children just need more time. Some need a different approach. Some need calm space and patient support. But none of those things diminish their potential or their brilliance. Their pace does not determine their power.
As a mom of three, I also understand the heartache of watching your child struggle and not knowing how to help. There is nothing heavier than wanting to lift a burden for your child and feeling unsure where to begin. I founded Momentum Learning Co. not only for the children I teach, but for the parents who are doing everything they can to support them.
I believe I was given this gift—to teach, to guide, to encourage, and to create a safe place for children to learn at their own pace. But just as importantly, to walk alongside families and remind them that their child is capable, resilient, and full of untapped potential.
I’ve always been a cheerleader for the underdog. I believe deeply in the quiet strength that lives inside every child—the kind that doesn't always show up first, loudest, or fastest, but grows steadily with the right encouragement. That belief is what led me to the turtle as the symbol of Momentum Learning Co.
There’s a quote I’ve always loved:
“You can’t judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree.”
To me, the turtle represents this perfectly. Some people may look at a turtle and see limitations—too slow, too small, not as capable. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. Turtles are strong, steady, resilient creatures. They thrive when they’re in the environment they’re meant for, moving at the pace that works for them.
And who hasn’t heard the story of The Tortoise and the Hare?
The world loves to celebrate the fast and flashy, but in the end, it’s the steady, patient, determined one who wins the race.
That’s what I see in the children I work with.
When your child begins working with me at Momentum Learning Co., you can expect a calm, supportive learning environment where they feel safe, encouraged, and capable of growing at their own pace.
As a licensed teacher with 10 years of classroom experience, I use research-based, multisensory instruction aligned with the Science of Reading and Orton-Gillingham principles to ensure every lesson is meaningful and effective. I take time to understand each child’s strengths and challenges, creating individualized learning plans that build skills steadily and confidently—just like the turtle that inspires our work.
Clear, consistent communication with families is a priority, so you’ll always know how your child is progressing and how we’re supporting their goals. Above all, you can expect a partnership—someone who believes in your child, celebrates their micro-wins, guides them through challenges, and helps them build both academic skills and strong confidence that lasts far beyond tutoring sessions.
