Each tutoring session is 45 minutes. This length ensures your child receives focused, high-quality instruction without feeling overwhelmed.

All tutoring sessions are currently offered in person, providing a hands-on, engaging learning experience using the same structured, multi-sensory approach I use in the classroom. In-person sessions allow me to build strong connections with students, provide immediate feedback, and use a variety of tactile materials that support K–5 learners.

Every student begins with an initial diagnostic assessment. This includes:

• A reading level check
• Decoding and phonics screening
• Fluency sample
• Comprehension snapshot
   

The results help me identify strengths, skill gaps, and the best path forward. You’ll receive a clear explanation of your child’s results and their personalized learning plan.

I use a research-based, multi-sensory curriculum aligned with the Science of Reading and Orton-Gillingham principles. Instruction includes decoding, phonemic awareness, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and confidence-building routines—all tailored to your child’s needs.

Every child learns at their own pace (we love the turtle for a reason!). After the initial assessment, I will recommend a plan based on your child’s goals and needs. Most students benefit from a 10–12 week cycle, while others continue for longer-term support to build deeper skills and confidence.

You’ll receive regular communication and progress updates so you always know how your child is growing. I share:
